Chrome OS 70 officially launched: Material Design style themes
Google officially announced the launch of Chrome OS 70 on the 28th. This latest Chrome OS system has more Android flavors in some designs, bringing improved operator interface to Chromebooks, tablets and 2-in-1 devices with touch screens.
According to 9to5Google, the new UI uses a newly designed application, with some rounded Material Design style themes, higher height, and supports larger application icons, and brings App Shortcut shortcut menu support for application icons.
The control panel on the right has also been redesigned with a circular icon similar to the Android 9 Pie. The new version brings a virtual keyboard identical to Android Gboard (supports floating keyboard mode) but does not support changing theme colors. The new camera app is also officially unveiled.
Also, according to Google, Chrome OS also improved the user’s control of the extension plug-in, as well as the search settings of the accessibility settings, and brought the AV1 decoder.
