Chatreey AM08 mini PC features a Ryzen 9 5900HX processor

There are many kinds of mini Pcs, but most of them are relatively fixed in design, just a square box, and Chatreey AM08 is quite unique. According to Liliputing, it uses a slanted design and has a conspicuous cylinder with RGB light effects on the top, which is used to place the power button and a performance adjustment dial.

This kind of sloping sides, narrow top, and wide bottom, and the design of the top column just show that this host is only suitable for vertical placement. The performance adjustment dial on the top can be switched between three modes silent, balanced, and performance, and the RGB light bar will also change color accordingly: blue, green, and red.

In terms of CPU, this model is equipped with Ryzen 9 5900HX, a 45W, 8-core, and 16-thread Zen 3 APU with a boost clock of up to 4.6GHz, and a Radeon Vega 8-core iGPU with a clock of 2100MHz. There is no support for an external graphics dock. In addition, it also has a more basic version AMR5, equipped with a 15W Ryzen 5 5600U, which was released last year.

In terms of memory, it has two SODIMM slots that support up to 64GB DDR4-3200. As for the hard disk, AM08 is configured with one M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 and one 2.5-inch SATA interface, while AMR5 has two M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 interfaces. In addition, the side panels of the Chatreey AM08 are installed magnetically, and users can easily disassemble the memory and hard disk without relying on screws.

On the interface, Chatreey AM08 is also relatively complete, with 4 USB 3.2 Type-A, 2 HDMI 2.0, 1 USB Type-C, 1 RJ45 network port, and a 3.5mm audio interface.
