The PG5NFZ series PCIe 5.0 SSD is equipped with Phison’s PS5026-E26 controller and Micron’s 3D TLC NAND B58R flash memory, which supports the NVMe 2.0 specification. The maximum sequential read speed is 10 GB/s, the maximum sequential write speed is 9.5 GB/s, the maximum random read is 1500K IOPS, and the maximum random write is 1250K IOPS.

According to CFD Gaming, compared to the previous PCIe 4.0 SSD, the data transfer rate of the new generation of products is 1.4 to 2 times that of the original, 2.8 to 4 times that of the PCIe 3.0 SSD and 19 times that of the SATA SSD.

The PG5NFZ series PCIe 5.0 SSD is also equipped with an active cooling module called “Phnix” with a height of 20mm and a fan on the top to improve cooling efficiency and achieve more stable performance output. It offers three different capacities, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB, all equipped with DDR4 cache, and the capacities are 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB.

CFD Gaming said that the version with a 2TB capacity will be released in November, the release time of the other two capacities has not been determined, and the price has not been provided for the time being.
