On January 3 next year, CES 2022 will open. Although there are still only online virtual meetings this year, there are still many companies that will release their own new products at this point in time, and a large number of new hardware devices will be introduced at the beginning of the year. What is certain is that both Intel and AMD will hold a press conference on January 4th. NVIDIA is not sure about the current time, but I don’t think they will miss such a good time.
According to @aschilling, AMD will hold an online press conference for CES 2022 at 4 pm CET on January 4th. It is expected that we will see AMD Ryzen 6000 series mobile processor Rembrandt at this conference. It will be produced using TSMC’s 6nm process and adopts Zen 3+ architecture. GPU will also be upgraded from the Vega architecture to the RDNA2 architecture. Of course, the desktop processor will see the Zen 3 processor equipped with 3D V-Cache, and the graphics card will also have new products. But I don’t know what it is, the more likely it is the desktop RX 6500 XT and RX 6400 graphics cards.
Intel will hold a press conference at 10 am Pacific time on January 4 at CES 2022. There must be the 12th generation Core mobile processor Alder Lake-P, the non-K series of the 12th-generation desktop processor Alder Lake-S will also be on stage, as will the remaining H670, B660, H610, etc. of the 600 series motherboards. Intel will also release their Arc Alchemist graphics card at this point in time. It is now more likely that the mobile version will come first, while the desktop version will be launched later in the future.
NVIDIA’s launch event at CES 2022 has not yet been determined. It is expected that NVIDIA will launch new RTX 30 series graphics cards, including the mobile version of RTX 3080 Ti with GA103 GPU. In addition, the desktop versions of RTX 3090 Ti, RTX 3080 12GB, and RTX 3070 Ti 16GB will also be launched in January, so they are likely to be available at CES.
