Board preparation tips for class 10 Maths in 30 Days

This is probably the only subject either it can be zero or 100. Some students get the nightmare because of Mathematics and often try to avoid it.  Some feel it’s boring they just want to get away from the calculations and some find it very difficult so they avoid it. Class 10 mathematics is a compulsory subject so why not start like and study.  Once you start learning to get it on the right track I think students who once disliked mathematics will start loving the subject. Every subject has different methods and strategies to be studied. Once you plan in the right way and practice it becomes very easy

This is a subject even you how all efforts you cannot get in a day or two. It is continuous and gradually you should get the concepts and the procedure.

When the exams are nearing students are with complex problems and theorems. When you have to prepare then why not prepare earlier.  However, mathematics is not at all difficult as it seems. You will be able to score well if you follow the syllabus correctly and regularly.

Know the syllabus and the topics.

It is very essential to go through your syllabus course structure and the marking scheme of the chapter. This will help you to analyze the time to be given to each chapter. This also helps you to plan and prioritise according to the chapters.  Get an updated syllabus and review it in detail. It is very important to accurately plan the timetable. You should be very specific about each day’s planning.  Once you get the clarity of the syllabus then prepare a timetable for each day. Make sure that it is followed exactly as per the schedule.

Don’t add too many topics to the plan. This will make it a bit boring and get me frustrated. Instead of making it a few topics so you are thorough with the topics with proper concert and logic.

NCERT

NCERT always has been the best guide helping the students in the best way for the preparation of exams. If you want to score well in the CBSE class 10 maths exam, you have to be very thoroughly steady with the NCERT textbook. Nearly the entire question paper of the CBSE maths exam involves the content from this book. Solving every problem can make you an expert in the subject.

Referring to too many books.

Referring to too many books and solving and thinking you will gain too much from these is a wrong notion. This will not only create confusion but also make you forget the things that you would have learned so far.  Along with the textbook, you can refer to anyone’s good reference book.  It is good to refer to  RS Aggarwal Class 10 Chapter 2 Exercise 2A Solution for all the chapter details.

Class 10 maths is very important and needs the regular practice of different problems. You can start solving the examples and follow the steps.  Even in a short time, you can score well with proper practice and study strategy. Start solving the easier ones then go for the complex problems.  Regular solving will help you to know your strengths and weaknesses. This will help you to practice more on the weaker section. Practicing more will help you in enhancing speed and accuracy and also help in the time management skill.

For theorems and formulas keep a separate book note down all the formulas in the book. This will help you in quick revision.

Follow the steps while solving the problem.

Solve your problems in steps so that you will avoid the mistake. Develop the same habit throughout as you will be getting marks even for the steps.

Once you are confident that you have completed the syllabus try to solve the previous years’ paper so that you will get the exact idea of the exam pattern. Solving the paper will help in time management and enhance the speed of solving the problem.

Start with easy problems first.

Whenever you are solving the problem either at home or even during the exam start with the easier problems then go for the difficult ones. This is because if you get stuck with the difficult one you get demotivated and there are chances you might go wrong with other problems also.

This strategy is not only for maths but for all the subjects.

Graphs and figures.

While solving the problems with graphs and while drawing the line in the graph sheet. Be very careful and take care of the measurement and use proper pencils and rulers.

Neat work.

Do neat work. A neat answer sheet is always appreciable and gives an impressive image. You should avoid overwriting and striking. Think and write. Show your working in the rough column and should be neat as well.  The rough work also should be neat and clean..
