Biostar Releases Two Z790 Motherboards: Z790 VALKYRIE and Z790A-SILVER
Biostar announced the launch of the Z790 motherboard, including the Z790 VALKYRIE and Z790A-SILVER, to support Intel Raptor Lake, the 13th generation Core processor.

Z790 VALKYRIE is equipped with four DDR5 memory slots that can support 6400+MHz (OC) frequency; provides a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot (x16 or x8 lane), a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot (x8 lane), and a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (x4 lane); equipped with a 2280 specification PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, two 22110 specification PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, a 2280 specification PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot, a 2280 specification M.2 slot (PCIe 3.0 x4 or SATA lll), and eight SATA lll ports; has two USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C ports (one rear and one internal), one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, eight USB 3.2 Gen2 ports (six rear and two internal), four USB 2.0 ports .
It also has a SMART BIOS UPDATE button, uses the Realtek ALC1220 audio solution, provides an HDMI 2.1 port and a DP 1.4 port, and a 2.5Gbps network card port (Intel I226-V), and is equipped with support for Wi-Fi and M.2 slot for Bluetooth module, etc.

Z790A-SILVER is equipped with four DDR5 memory slots that can support 6400+MHz (OC) frequency; provides one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot (x16 lane), one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (x4 lane), and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots (x1 lane); equipped with two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots of 2280 specifications, one M.2 slot of 22110 specifications (PCIe 4.0 x4 or SATA lll), and six SATA lll ports; has two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports (one each on the back and one internal), five USB 3.2 Gen2 ports (both on the back), two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, six USB 2.0 ports.
