BenQ RD Series: The Ultimate Monitors for Coding Clarity

BenQ has announced the launch of its innovative RD series of professional programming monitors. This marks the debut of the world’s first monitor series specifically tailored to meet the unique and extensive needs of programmers, featuring BenQ’s proprietary fine coating technology. These monitors are equipped with advanced anti-glare and anti-reflective properties designed specifically for coding, offering developers unrivaled clarity for extended lines of code.

BenQ plans to introduce several models in various sizes during the first half of this year, including the RD240Q with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 24.1-inch display; the RD280U and RD280UA with a 3:2 aspect ratio and 28.2-inch display; and the RD320U and RD320UA with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 31.5-inch display.

The RD series is equipped with the Professional Programming Mode 2.0, offering both dark and light color schemes for coding. This feature intelligently adjusts the color parameters of the code, enhancing readability, reducing eye strain, and enabling more efficient and healthy programming. BenQ has incorporated a programming-specific toolbar and user-friendly menu, combined with dedicated coding keys, customizable buttons, and an LED indicator, allowing for easy switching between modes and a seamless transition into a coding mindset. Additionally, through firmware adjustments, BenQ provides solutions for ultra-low brightness and color balance, ensuring eye comfort in dim, nocturnal environments. The monitors also include an ambient light sensor that supports intelligent dimming 2.0, dynamically adjusting screen temperature and brightness while regulating blue light levels. Furthermore, users can enhance their efficiency with the downloadable Display Pilot 2 software.

The RD series monitors offer ergonomically adjustable and fixed stands, equipped with a full-function USB-C port and KVM capabilities, featuring a hub with multiple USB-A/C ports and supporting MST multi-stream transport technology for daisy-chaining additional displays.
