AV-TESTS result: BitDefender, F-Secure, Kaspersky Lab, McAfee, and Symantec are a good choice

AV-TESTS security experts have recently conducted a series of anti-virus tests to help users choose the best performing anti-virus software on Windows 10 devices. Among them, five different security products, BitDefender, F-Secure, Kaspersky Lab, McAfee, and Symantec, scored 18 out of the test, and each of the three tests on protection, performance, and usability received 6 points.

On the other hand, there were 6 safety products with a total score of 17.5 points, and only one of the three tests lost 0.5 points. These products include anti-virus engines developed by AhnLab, Avast, AVG, Avira, Microsoft, and VIPRE Security. The lowest scores were PC Pitstop and PC Matic, with a total score of 15.5, a protection score of 6 and a performance score of 6 but the usability of 3.5.

Microsoft Windows Defender has a total score of 17.5 points, 6 points of protection, 5.5 points of performance and 6 points of usability, which is once again impressive. Windows Defender is a native security solution for Windows 10 devices and is pre-installed on all versions of the operating system. Windows Defender provided 100% protection in the March and April tests to withstand the 0-day malware attacks and new samples found in the past 4 weeks.
