Asus unveils new Vivobook 13 Slate OLED

At present, more and more laptops are choosing OLED screens, and ASUS has also launched a number of Vivobook series laptops equipped with OLED screens. According to Techpowerup, ASUS recently launched the new Vivobook 13 Slate OLED (T3304) 2-in-1 laptop, which is also equipped with an OLED screen with a maximum brightness of 550nits.

Vivobook 13 Slate is black, the size is 310x190x8.95mm, and the weight is 0.8 kg. It is equipped with a 13.3-inch OLED touch screen with a resolution of 1920×1080, a maximum brightness of 550nits, and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The keyboard is a detachable design with a key travel of 1.4mm and a touchpad with a size of 128x64mm.

The laptop can be equipped with ASUS Pen 2.0, which adopts an anti-drop design, supports MPP (Microsoft Pen Protocol) 2.0 technology, and is equipped with four interchangeable pen tips with different hardness and friction, which can meet the different needs of users. The stylus is charged by the Type-C interface. The official said that it can last for 140 hours after being fully charged. There is a multi-function button on the top of the pen, and the user can set the button function by themself.

Vivobook 13 Slate is available in two processor models: Core i3-N300 and Pentium N200. Both processors were released at CES 2023, both have Gracemont architecture, adopt 7nm process technology, and are aimed at the entry-level computing field. Core i3-N300 is an eight-core design, does not support hyper-threading, the boost clock is 3.8GHz, the third-level cache is 6MB, and the TDP is 7W; the Pentium N200 is a quad-core design that also does not support hyper-threading. The boost clock is 3.4GHz, the L3 cache is 6MB, and the TDP is 6W. Compared with the Celeron N6000 processor equipped with the previous generation Vivobook 13 Slate, the new model still has a significant performance improvement.

In terms of interfaces, Vivobook 13 Slate has two full-featured Type-C interfaces that support DP video transmission and power supply, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro SD card reader slot. The Vivobook 13 Slate is equipped with four speakers, supports Dolby Atmos, has a battery capacity of 50Wh, and has a power adapter with a power of 65W.

The laptop has three capacity configurations: 128GB/256GB/512GB. The 128GB/256GB version uses UFS 2.1 flash memory, and the 512GB version uses PCIe 3.0 x4 solid state drive.

ASUS has not yet announced the specific release date and price of the Vivobook 13 Slate.
