ASUS launched a new Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED notebook
According to previous reports, ASUS recently launched six Vivobook series laptops, all equipped with Intel’s 13th generation Core H-series mobile processors, with different sizes and display types to choose from. ASUS recently launched a new Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED laptop.
Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED measures 356.1×253.1×19.6mm, weighs 1.9 kg, and has two colors of black/silver. As can be seen from the name, the notebook supports flip mode. The laptop has two processor models to choose from Ryzen 7 7730U and Ryzen 5 7530U. Both processors are Zen3 architecture and adopt TSMC’s 7nm process technology. From the parameter point of view, the biggest difference between the two processors is the number of cores, the base clock, and the boost clock are the same. The Ryzen 5 7530U L2 cache capacity and integrated graphic specifications are slightly lower than the Ryzen 7 7730U.
This laptop has two screen configurations, one adopts an IPS screen with a resolution of 1920×1200, a screen ratio of 16:10, a refresh rate of 60Hz, a maximum brightness of 300nits, covering 45% NTSC color gamut, and supports a touch screen; the other uses an OLED screen with a resolution of 3200×200, a screen ratio of 16:10, a refresh rate of 60Hz, a maximum brightness of 400nits, covering 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. It supports touch screens and stylus pens. The battery capacity of different screen versions is different, the battery capacity of the IPS screen version is 42Wh, and the battery capacity of the OLED screen version is 50Wh.
In terms of interfaces, the laptop has a USB 2.0 Type-A interface, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A interface, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C interface that supports charging and DP video output, a Micro HDMI interface, and a 3.5mm headphone headset hole. The laptop has a PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 slot and is equipped with 16GB of DDR4 memory, of which 8GB is onboard.
ASUS has not yet announced the price of each model of the laptop and the specific launch date.
