Apple Watch Series 10 will have blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection

Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman has acquired information suggesting that Apple plans to introduce blood pressure trend monitoring and sleep apnea detection features in the forthcoming Apple Watch Series 10, slated for release next year.

The blood pressure trend monitoring is designed to alert wearers to potential increases in blood pressure and document these trends for reports that may assist in medical consultations. Sleep apnea detection aims to notify users of potential symptoms of sleep apnea, thereby aiding them in seeking early medical intervention to enhance sleep quality.

Previously, Gurman had also mentioned Apple’s intention to implement significant design changes with the tenth iteration of the Apple Watch. This includes a more slender build and a revamped clasp design for the watchband, alongside expectations of integrating a long-rumored Micro LED display and advanced features like blood pressure measurement.

As the tenth model released by Apple, the Apple Watch Series 10 is anticipated to offer distinctive differences in hardware and user experience.
