Apacer launches AS2280Q4U M.2 PCIe Gen4 x4 SSD

Apacer announced the launch of the AS2280Q4U M.2 PCIe Gen4 x4 SSD. This SSD is a high-end product of Apacer. In addition to meeting the needs of PC users, the performance indicators and physical specifications of the radiator meet Sony’s storage expansion requirements for PlayStation 5, allowing users to have more application scenarios.

AS2280Q4U M.2 PCIe Gen4 x4 SSD is fully compliant with NVMe 1.4 standard, using industry-leading 3D NAND flash technology. The sequential read and sequential write speeds reached 7400 MB/s and 7000 MB/s, respectively. In addition, the AS2280Q4U M.2 PCIe Gen4 x4 SSD adopts an SLC cache, built-in Wear Leveling technology, and automatic error correction function, which not only improves the stability but also prolongs the service life of the SSD.

In order to adapt to the installation of PlayStation 5 and improve the cooling performance of the SSD, Apacer provides a customized heat sink for the AS2280Q4U M.2 PCIe Gen4 x4 SSD, which adopts a special diversion cutting design to effectively cool down by 35%. Therefore, gamers do not need to worry about the performance of the SSD caused by the increase in temperature. This SSD provides three capacity options of 512GB, 1TB and 2TB, which can meet the storage needs of most users.
