AMD will announce new ZEN and RDNA products at CES 2022

The CES 2022 International Consumer Electronics Show will be held from January 3 to 8, 2022. AMD has announced its participation in this exhibition and will reveal new information about CPU and GPU products at the product premiere live event held on January 4. The specific live broadcast time is at 10:00 am on January 4th, US Eastern Time. The live broadcast will be provided on AMD’s official website.

AMD said that Dr. Lisa Su will host the 2022 product launch on January 4, and will focus on the innovations and solutions of the upcoming new AMD RYZEN processors and AMD Radeon graphics cards. Last year AMD promised that its next-generation ZEN 4 architecture-based RYZEN processor and RDNA 3 architecture-based Radeon graphics cards will be on the right track in 2022. From the latest news, AMD should fulfill its promises. However, there is also news that AMD may choose the ZEN 3+ architecture as the transition between ZEN 3 and ZEN 4. It uses the new 3D V-cache technology. AMD claims that this technology can increase the average game performance by 15% compared with the current ZEN 3.
However, there is no official information about ZEN 3+, so it is still unclear whether this transitional structure really exists. In addition, there is news that AMD will also support DDR5 memory this year.
