AMD releases RX 6000M series graphics cards

AMD brought Radeon RX 6000M series graphics cards at today’s Taipei Computer Show conference. As AMD’s new generation of mobile platform graphics cards, they will inherit the high-efficiency RDNA 2 architecture of the desktop version of the RX 6000 series, and their performance will be significantly improved compared to the previous generation. There are three products first released, including RX 6800M, RX 6700M, and RX 6600M.
The Navi 21 GPU used in the desktop version of the RX 6800XT has too high power consumption, and it is unrealistic to put it on a mobile platform, so the RX 6800M actually uses Navi 22. The RX 6800M has 40 sets of CU units, 96MB of infinite cache, and 192bit/12GB of GDDR6 memory. When the graphics card TGP is 145W, the game frequency can reach 2300 MHz.
In terms of performance, RX 6800M can satisfy e-sports and online games with the highest picture quality at 2K resolution and provide a frame rate above 120FPS.
The RX 6700M also uses Navi 22 GPU, has 36 sets of CU, 80MB unlimited cache, its memory configuration is a bit unique, the memory size is 160bit, equipped with 10GB of GDDR6 memory, the game frequency can reach 2300MHz at 135W TGP. It can provide a frame rate of more than 100FPS at 2K resolution and on high settings.
RX 6600M uses Navi 23 GPU, it has 28 CU units, unlimited cache capacity is 32MB, is equipped with 128bit/8GB GDDR6 video memory, and the game frequency can reach 2177MHz at 100W TGP. RX 6600M is aimed at mainstream gamers. When the highest image quality is turned on, the performance can be comparable to the opponent’s RTX 3060 6GB.
