Recently, some users found traces of AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT/RX 6400. Both graphics cards will use Navi 24 core, equipped with 4GB of GDDR6 memory. According to previous rumors, Navi 24 has a core frequency of 2.8 GHz or above and will be equipped with 16 CUs, 1024 stream processors, and 16MB unlimited cache, 1MB L2 cache, and 128KB L1 cache, the video memory bit width is 64 bits.
According to
VideoCardz reports, AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT will be equipped with a full-spec Navi 24 core, 1024 stream processors, a video memory rate of 14 Gbps, and a corresponding video memory bandwidth of 112 GB/s. This graphics card still needs an external power supply. The official recommendation is to use a power supply with a rated power of 400W. AMD Radeon RX 6400 is equipped with a Navi 24 core. There are only 12 CUs, which means that the number of stream processors is 768. However, this graphics card does not require an external power supply, which means that its power consumption will be lower than 75W.
Radeon RX 6500 XT/RX 6400 will be AMD’s first low-end/entry-level GPU that supports ray-tracing technology and will be launched in the first quarter of 2022. It is said that AMD is still positioning the Radeon RX 6500 XT/RX 6400 for 1080P games, but in view of the memory capacity and bandwidth, it is estimated that it is difficult to meet the performance requirements under high-quality image settings.
