AMD Radeon Pro W6800 benchmark test results leaked

AMD Radeon RX series with RDNA 2 architecture has been on the market for more than half a year. The chips with the new architecture should be said to be mature enough, and it is almost ready to launch a version for professionals. In fact, the AMD Radeon Pro series product line has indeed not been updated for a period of time, and occasionally sporadic new products will be launched, mostly for the mainstream market.

According to Wccftech reports, it was recently discovered that the Radeon Pro W6800 graphics card appeared in the benchmark database with the device ID “1002 73A3, 1002 0E1E”. This is the high-end model of the upcoming Radeon Pro W6000 series, using Navi 21 core, equipped with 32GB of GDDR6 video memory, 128MB of unlimited cache.

In the benchmark tests of Directx9 and Directx10 modes, a simple performance evaluation of the Radeon Pro W6800 graphics card was carried out. The results showed that its performance was between Radeon RX 6800 and Radeon RX 6800 XT. It is also much lower than the Nvidia RTX A6000 flagship workstation graphics card

Of course, UserBenchmark cannot fully reflect the actual performance, especially in the professional field.

AMD has confirmed that it is developing a number of Radeon Pro W6000 series graphics cards. According to previously leaked information, PC and Mac platforms have corresponding products with 16GB of video memory. It also confirmed that it includes the Radeon Pro W6600M based on Navi 23. It is expected to be released in a few months.
