AMD FidelityX Super Resolution 2.0 has been implemented in Red Dead Redemption 2
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game that is loved by many players. The exquisite graphics are impressive. Although the PC version has been released for nearly three years since its release in 2019, it can still enter the top ten in the weekly sales rankings on the Steam platform.
A few days ago, Rockstar Games released the 1.31 version update, the new patch is about 433MB, and the new patch is currently available for download. According to the content of the update log, it is revealed that the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 will officially join AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 2.0 technology. However, the update log does not mention the performance impact after turning on FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0, which requires players to test it by themselves. In addition, the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 also added NVIDIA’s Reflex technology, but only reduces the delay of the controller, not for the mouse and keyboard.
AMD has stated that if the game already supports NVIDIA DLSS, integrating FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 will only take three days of work to complete. In fact, the time for game developers to add and optimize is generally more than three days, but at least it shows that all games that support NVIDIA DLSS have the possibility of adding FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0.
