All Microsoft conferences will be digital-only through July 2021
After the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus, the developer conferences such as Microsoft Build, Google I/O and Apple WWDC were all canceled.
Because these offline meetings need to gather a lot of people, it is very easy to cause virus transmission. Most companies choose to replace these meetings with webcasts.
Microsoft recently announced that following the Global Developers Conference, Microsoft ’s IGNITE 2020 summit for enterprises and partners has also been canceled and changed to an online meeting.
At the same time, there are rumors that Microsoft will no longer hold any offline meetings during the year, and even news that Microsoft will not resume the offline meetings until the second half of next year.

After attracting the attention of many users, Microsoft also released the news in response. A Microsoft spokesperson said that all meetings will be held online before the second half of next year.
That is, from now until the first half of next year, all of Microsoft’s offline summits will be canceled, but Microsoft has promised to replace all summits with online live broadcasts.
Microsoft said it will continue to assess the impact of the epidemic, public health and the health of its employees, customers, and consumers are the company’s most important task.
The IGNITE 2021 conference is said to be Microsoft’s next large-scale offline meeting, which is expected to be held sometime between September and November 2021.
