AirSim 1.1.1 release, Microsoft based on Unreal Engine open source simulator
AirSim 1.1.1 has been released, AirSim is Microsoft’s open source a cross-platform built on the Unreal Engine (Unreal Engine) on the UAV and another autonomous mobile device simulator. It supports hardware in the loop with the popular flight controller’s physical and visual realistic simulation. It is developed as an illusory plugin that can simply be put into any illusory environment you want.
The simulator creates a highly realistic, realistic virtual environment that simulates environments that are easily interfered with in other real-world areas such as shadows, reflections, and so on, allowing unmanned aerial vehicles to be trained without experiencing real-world risks.
AirSim’s goal is to serve as a platform for AI research to test depth learning, computer vision and enhanced learning algorithms for autonomous vehicles. To this end, AirSim also disclosed the API, platform-independent way to retrieve data and control the vehicle.
This version contains 2 available environments:
- Neighborhood
- City downtown
