Adobe Photoshop gets multiple new AI functions
Adobe has announced that the desktop and iPad versions of the Adobe Photoshop application have received a major update. This update Adobe brings five new artificial intelligence features to the software, including neural filters, sky replacement, new discovery panels, and new optimizations Edge selection function.
These functions are currently only available for the desktop and iPad versions, and other versions should not be supported in a short time. Interested users can wait for Adobe to release subsequent version updates.
Neural filter is a new workspace in Photoshop. It introduces new non-destructive filters that can help you explore creativity in a few seconds. The filters in this workspace will speed up your workflow, although it is unlikely to produce exactly the results you need every time. Smooth skin and style conversion are functional filters, which can be used by users and inspire artists to process images.
The new sky conversion function can quickly create more dynamic images, which is easier and faster than before to create such effects. Photoshop now knows what is the foreground and what is the sky. Of course, users can also click to select —sky and choose a different style by themselves, or use the select—sky replacement function to select a new sky or customize it from the database provided by Adobe Set the sky. After completing the settings, Photoshop’s new Sensei machine learning model will automatically complete the masking and blending.
Now the selection and mask workspace has added two new Sensei functions, including optimized hair and object perception optimization modes. Optimizing hair is located in the options at the top of the selection and mask workspace. It can find the person you choose and automatically optimize their hair, just like you use the Refine Edge brush to modify it yourself.
Click the object perception button to set the optimized edge mode. Simply put, this is an automated process. The trained object perception algorithm can better understand the objects in the scene, so it can be better in the background of similar colors or similar textures. Local work, of course, can also help users complete processing quickly and with the best results.
The newly added discovery panel this time brings a new learning and search experience to Photoshop. In fact, this is a content library. It combines with the massively expanded application learning content library to provide a new step-by-step tutorial and a new and more powerful searching feature.
