addlink releases AddGame A95 M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, which can be used with PlayStation 5

Recently, addlink announced the launch of AddGame A95 M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD. This SSD is equipped with a heat sink. The high-quality aluminum heat sink with cross-cut flat fins can increase the heat dissipation efficiency by 17%. The shape design is not only compatible with most PCs, but also fully meets the SSD expansion requirements of the Sony PlayStation 5 game console.

AddGame A95 series SSD adopts PCIe Gen4 x4 standard M.2 interface, supports NVMe 1.4, continuous read speed is 7400 MB/s, continuous write speed is 7000 MB/s. The transfer rate is faster than the usual PCIe Gen3 x4 standard SSD, 14 times faster than the SATA interface SSD, and is fully backward compatible with PCIe Gen3 x4 standard platforms. It is equipped with the latest SSD master chip and 3D TLC flash memory, combined with DRAM Cache Buffer and SLC Cache technology, which can effectively improve performance. Coupled with LDPC ECC technology and adaptive thermal protection technology, it can ensure the data security of the SSD and enhance the reliability of the SSD. These are designed to adapt to high-intensity games or intensive workloads.

With a height of only 9.1 mm, it can perfectly fit the installation requirements of the SSD expansion slot inside the PlayStation 5 game console. On the PC, users can also analyze and manage the SSD through addlink’s exclusive SSD ToolBox software.

AddGame A95 M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD offers three capacities of 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB, and enjoys a 5-year limited warranty. It is understood that addlink has already begun to distribute this new product to partners, and it is expected to be available for purchase on Amazon in October 2021, but the price has not yet been announced.
