ADATA launches XPG GAMMIX S70 BLADE SSD for gamers with PCIe 4.0
Storage device manufacturer ADATA has announced the launch of a new high-performance solid-state drive for gamers. The solid-state drive adopts PCIe Gen 4*4 to improve the ultra-high read and write speed.
The name of this solid-state drive is GAMMIX S70 BLADE. According to ADATA, this solid-state drive is aimed at professional users and game users, especially the unique heat dissipation design that can provide stable performance.
At present, there are many solid-state hard drives in the consumer sector with speeds reaching 5000MB/S+, including ADATA also launched many ultra-high-speed solid-state drives for consumers to choose from.
However, this new solid-state drive is relatively more outstanding in terms of design, including the use of updated technical standards and providing excellent heat dissipation materials to reduce operating temperature.
ADATA stated that the read speed of Blade series solid-state drives can reach 7400MB/S and the write speed can reach 6400MB/S, which is twice as fast as PCIe 3.0 solid-state drives.
Of course, considering that not all users’ motherboards support the PCIe 4.0 interface, this solid-state drive also supports PCIe 3.0 compatibility to provide faster speeds.
XPG GAMMIX S70 BLADE uses 3D NAND flash memory to provide up to 2TB capacity, enhances efficiency and durability, and is compatible with NVMe version 1.4 protocol.
In terms of heat dissipation, the hard disk uses a high-temperature aluminum radiator to transfer heat faster, which can solve the high-temperature problem that this type of solid-state hard disk is criticized during operation.
