As OLED technology has become more mature in the past two years, more and more notebook computers have begun to choose to carry OLED screens, which is most obvious in ASUS products. Acer has just released a new Swift 3 OLED laptop, which not only uses the Intel Alder Lake platform but also introduces an OLED screen, changing the relatively conservative update strategy of the past two years.
The Acer Swift 3 OLED laptop (SF314-71) is equipped with the latest 12th generation Core mobile processor, offering four options from Core i5-12450H to
Core i7-12700H. Its OLED screen size is 14 inches, the display ratio is 16:10, the resolution is 2880×1800 (WQXGA+), the screen ratio is 92%, and the DCI-P3 color gamut is 100%, and it has obtained the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. It was integrated with Iris Xe graphics, equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5 memory, and PCIe 4.0 SSD providing up to 1TB, and has also been certified by Intel Evo.
In addition, the Swift 3 OLED body is made of aluminum, with a thickness of 17.9mm and a weight of 1.4kg. Acer said that through the optimization of the keyboard, the new design can improve the heat dissipation efficiency by 8% to 10% compared with the standard keyboard. This laptop was equipped with an FHD webcam, TNR and Acer PurifiedVoice, and other noise reduction technologies to improve the quality of video capture and sound recording. Acer says the Swift 3 OLED offers 10 hours of battery life and 4 hours of battery life on a 30-minute fast charge.
