PNY launches CS3150 series PCIe 5.0 SSD

PNY announced the launch of the CS3150 series PCIe 5.0 SSD, a product line that elevates computing experiences to unparalleled heights. The new series boasts lightning-fast read and write speeds, reduced load times, and enhanced overall system responsiveness, making it an ideal choice for professionals, PC enthusiasts, and anyone seeking the apex of storage performance.

The CS3150 series SSDs feature a 2280 M.2 form factor and utilize a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface, supporting the NVMe 2.0 specification. Available in 1TB and 2TB capacities, these SSDs offer peak continuous read speeds of up to 12,000MB/s and write speeds of up to 11,000MB/s. Integrated with an active cooler, the dual-fan design significantly improves heat dissipation, ensuring superior performance and efficiency. PNY also offers three aesthetic variants of the SSDs: classic black, pristine white, and black with RGB lighting. The standard version uses a 4-pin connector, while the black RGB variant features a 9-pin USB connector for powering the fans and controlling the RGB lighting.

PNY states that the CS3150 series PCIe 5.0 SSDs are fully optimized for Microsoft’s DirectStorage, enhancing game load speeds. Users can also utilize PNY’s VelocityX software to synchronize the RGB lighting with other RGB-designed PNY products, such as the RTX 4080 16 GB XLR8 Gaming VERTO EPIC-X RGB Triple Fan.

The CS3150 series PCIe 5.0 SSDs are set to hit the market in December 2023. The initial release will include a 1TB SSD with a black heatsink and a 1TB SSD with a black RGB heatsink, priced at $179.99 and $189.99, respectively, each backed by a five-year limited warranty.
