Nvidia will launch a new version of the RTX 4080 with AD103-301 GPU

Previously, it was reported that Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 will have two versions, AD104-250 and AD104-251. The former requires a comparator circuit, while the latter does not. At the same time, Nvidia will also bring a new version of GeForce RTX 4080, equipped with an AD103-301 GPU, which will help its partners reduce costs.

According to VideoCardz, at present, GeForce RTX 4080 has changed. Nvidia has started to provide two versions of AD103-300 and AD103-301. Gainward is the first board manufacturer to confirm the existence of AD103-301. Both AD103-300 and AD103-301 have the same performance and function, and there is no difference in frequency. They are essentially the same GPU. The main difference lies in the PCB design, and some changes are required.

GeForce RTX 4080 16GB adopts AD103-300 or AD103-301 GPU, has 76 SMs, that is, 9728 CUDA cores, base frequency is 2.21GHz, acceleration frequency is 2.51GHz, equipped with 16GB of GDDR6X memory, memory interface width is 256 bits, the memory rate is 23Gbps.
