Nvidia Ada Lovelace architecture TITAN leaked

Rumors have long circulated about NVIDIA’s plans to release a TITAN or GeForce RTX 4090 Ti based on the Ada Lovelace architecture, with accompanying PCB designs and cooling solutions. Several months ago, even images of its massive cooling module surfaced, occupying four slots and boasting a cooling capacity of 900W. Unlike conventional graphics cards stacked vertically, it is highly likely that the PCB has been rotated 90 degrees.

Due to various factors such as size, weight, heat generation, and power consumption, it was previously rumored that NVIDIA had ultimately decided to cancel this project. Recently, Twitter user @ExperteVallah once again leaked new photos of the so-called Ada Lovelace architecture TITAN or GeForce RTX 4090 Ti. In some of these images, a GeForce RTX 3080/3080 Ti Founders Edition can be seen placed beside it, illustrating the immense size of this top-tier graphics card based on the Ada Lovelace architecture.

However, in the latest images, the display output ports are empty, where there should have been three DisplayPort ports and one HDMI port, and the PCB is also missing. Furthermore, the silver metallic frame of the heatsink bears the inscription “RTX 4090,” suggesting that it might be an early version of the RTX 4090 Founders Edition, sharing the same heatsink design as the Ada Lovelace architecture TITAN or GeForce RTX 4090 Ti.

According to rumors, the GPU powering the Ada Lovelace architecture TITAN graphics card, codenamed “the beast,” is the AD102-450-A1. It boasts 18,176 CUDA cores, just like the RTX 6000 Ada Generation, and features a PCB design labeled as PG137-SKU0. It is equipped with 48GB of GDDR6X memory with a clock speed of 24Gbps and includes two 16-pin 12VHPWR connectors, allowing for a total power consumption of 800W. As for the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti, its PCB design is known as PG136/139-SKU310. Compared to the TITAN, it has a reduced power consumption of 600W and half the amount of VRAM.

Considering NVIDIA’s current roadmap for the GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards, it is highly likely that plans for the Ada Lovelace architecture TITAN or GeForce RTX 4090 Ti have been canceled.
