MSI releases SPATIUM M570 PRO series PCIe 5.0 SSDs

MSI has announced the formal release of its SPATIUM M570 PRO series, PCIe 5.0 SSDs, positioning them as high-performance flagship products designed to shatter the limits of storage performance, thereby enriching its SSD product line. The company has collaborated with Phison Electronics for this new offering, sharing the exhilaration of challenging the boundaries of storage.

The SPATIUM M570 PRO series SSDs adhere to the M.2 2280 form factor specifications and amalgamate the latest NVMe 2.0 and PCIe 5.0 technologies. They incorporate Phison Electronics’ PS5026-E26 controller chips and are paired with Micron’s 232-layer 3D TLC NAND flash memory, available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities. They set a new industry standard with maximum sequential read speeds surpassing 14000 MB/s and maximum sequential write speeds exceeding 12000 MB/s. They are on par with the T-FORCE Z54A SSD that TEAMGROUP recently launched in partnership with Innogrit Technology, even slightly outperforming it overall.

MSI had earlier showcased the SPATIUM M570 PRO series SSDs at the CES 2023 exhibition, using the 2TB version. The test platform comprised an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X processor and an X670E Carbon motherboard. Within Crystal Disk Mark, the read and write speeds reached 12324 MB/s and 11814 MB/s respectively. After several months of tweaks, the performance has seen further enhancement.

According to MSI’s prior introduction, the SPATIUM M570 PRO series SSDs will come with a heat sink adorned with MSI’s dragon logo, featuring a heat spreader. While MSI did not provide specific product pricing, it indicated a planned launch for the second quarter of this year.
