MSI launches SPATIUM M461/M453/M451 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs

MSI announced the launch of three PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs, SPATIUM M461/M453/M451, all in M.2 2280 form factor, compatible with desktop motherboards and laptops. MSI said that the new products will allow it to continue to improve the high-performance PC brand, by expanding the SPATIUM series of high-performance storage category product lines, and building SSDs with high-quality, high-density 3D NAND flash memory, providing professionals, content creators, and gamers with amazing performance and durability.

SPATIUM M461 is a product that meets the performance of mainstream users. The sequential read and sequential write speeds are up to 5000 MB/s and 4200 MB/s respectively, and it provides four capacities of 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB.
SPATIUM M453 and SPATIUM M451 are entry-level products with optimized file transfer and loading times. The former has sequential read and sequential write speeds of up to 3600 MB/s and 2800 MB/s, respectively, and the latter has sequential read and sequential write speeds of up to 3550 MB/s and 2700 MB/s, respectively. Both models are available in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities.

According to MSI, these SSDs support comprehensive data error correction functions, including LPDC ECC and E2E data protection, provide high-level TBW, and have excellent durability and service life, and with a limited five-year warranty, it is ready to assist customers in most regions of the world.
MSI provides an advanced software solution, including system status monitoring and data backup, built into MSI Center. Users can see comprehensive information about SSD status, including SSD health, used capacity, and current operating temperature. MSI has also partnered with data backup solution Actiphy to allow users who purchase and install an MSI SSD into a PC system to create backups.

It is not yet clear the prices of these SSDs and the specific time to market.
