MSI has removed the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X information from its official website

Recently, MSI unveiled the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X graphics card. It is equipped with a new version of the RTX 3060 Ti, which supports GDDR6X memory and utilizes the TriFrozr SUPRIM cooling solution. Its PCB design is identical to that of the RTX 3070 SUPRIM.

According to HKEPC, NVIDIA is displeased with MSI’s move and has notified them to recall the graphics card, as it may affect sales of other partners’ GeForce RTX 3060 Ti cards. Consequently, MSI has removed the card’s information from its official website.

Upon examining the product naming and design, the release of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X seems rather hasty. The card even retains the SUPRIM series logo on its components, and its launch timing is somewhat awkward. Nonetheless, MSI did not plan a large-scale sale of this product, as it was reportedly limited to the Chinese market. Indeed, the name “GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER” has already caused some confusion, given the existence of the previous RTX 2060 SUPER, leading some to believe another “SUPER” GPU was introduced within the RTX 3060 lineup.

The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X features a Tri Frozr 2S cooling system, three sixth-generation blade fans, and Torx Fan 4.0 technology. Its innovative design includes annular fan blades, a nickel-plated copper base, dual BIOS functionality, and Mystic Light RGB lighting. Integrated with MSI Center software, it enables real-time monitoring, optimization, personalized lighting effect settings, and synchronization with other MSI RGB devices.

The GPU clock of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X is identical to that of MSI’s GeForce RTX 3060 Ti G6X GAMING X TRIO, with a boost clock of 1845 MHz, higher than the Founder’s Edition’s 1665 MHz. The GDDR6X memory speed is 19 Gbps, coupled with a 256-bit memory bus width, delivering 608 GB/s of memory bandwidth, equivalent to the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. As for display output, it offers a conventional configuration with three DisplayPort 1.4a ports and one HDMI 2.1 port. Additionally, the card is equipped with dual 8-pin external power connectors and has a total power consumption of 265W.
