Google officially launched the Data Lost Prevention API

To help organizations protect and monitor sensitive data, Google has just launched a new application interface (API) called “Data Loss Prevention” (DLP). Since March this year, DLP has been in the testing phase. With the official release, it also ushered in a number of new features, including redirection, masking, and tokenization. The API can enforce the “least privilege principle” or perform “need-to-know access” to the production application and data workflow.
