GALAX Announces RTX 4060 Ti Unparalleled MAX Graphics Card

Previously, we reported that a netizen showcased a single-slot GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB graphics card, measuring a mere 26.7cm in length and featuring a turbine cooling design. The card’s video output ports, located on the PCI bracket, were accompanied by a narrow grille, though the specific brand and model remained undisclosed. Recently, Galax unveiled on their official website the new RTX 4060 Ti Unparalleled MAX graphics card, which bears a striking resemblance to the aforementioned design.

The Galax GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB Unparalleled MAX graphics card is equipped with a proprietary blower fan. The card boasts an accelerated frequency of 2535 MHz and maintains a total power consumption of 165W, consistent with the standard RTX 4060 Ti 16GB models. To ensure effective cooling, the card’s turbine fan does not support a stop-start feature and may produce some noise during operation. However, compared to conventional downward-pressing fan designs, the turbine card’s independent air duct reduces the impact on other heat sources within the computer, such as the CPU. Despite its single-slot thickness, the card is equipped with three DisplayPort 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1 output interface. The 8-pin power connector is conveniently located at the tail of the card, making it particularly suitable for clustered environments.

With the increasing power consumption and heat generation of graphics cards, Nvidia’s official gaming cards have gradually abandoned the turbine fan cooling design and have increased the thickness of the cards. Currently, only a few mid-to-low-end graphics cards, professional graphic cards, or those specifically designed for deep learning feature thinner bodies with turbine fan cooling designs.
