EVGA Releases New GE Series Power Supplies

EVGA announces the launch of their new GE series power supplies, introducing the EVGA ECO mode for the first time. EVGA asserts that, in addition to achieving 80 PLUS Gold certification, the GE series power supplies boast minimal noise, low power consumption, and stringent voltage regulation for enhanced stability, allowing gamers to immerse themselves in a tranquil usage environment.

The GE series represents EVGA’s first non-modular unit featuring the ECO mode, ensuring a quiet operation under low to medium loads. The intelligent 120mm fan only rotates when necessary, achieving completely silent performance. Among EVGA’s non-modular power supplies, the GE series excels in energy efficiency under load, surpassing previous products in load regulation. To accommodate the needs of custom builders and everyday gamers, the GE series power supplies adopt a hard-lined design, employing only the most essential and frequently-used cables for ease of installation and immediate use.

The GE series achieves 90% (115VAC) / 92% (220VAC~240VAC) or higher efficiency, with DC-DC converters enhancing the stability of the 3.3V/5V rails. Featuring an active power factor correction, high-quality Japanese capacitors ensure the power supply’s long-term reliability. The unit also incorporates various built-in circuit protection features, including over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), short-circuit protection (SCP), under-voltage protection (UVP), over-power protection (OPP), and over-temperature protection (OTP), guaranteeing the safe operation of hardware.

EVGA states that they will provide a five-year warranty for the GE series power supplies. The prices for the 500W, 600W, 700W, and 800W models are $69.99, $79.99, $89.99, and $99.99, respectively.
