Corsair launches MP600 Pro LPX SSD White Edition: PS5 compatible, up to 4TB capacity

Recently, Corsair unveiled the MP600 Pro LPX White Edition, a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD conforming to the 2280 M.2 standard. Compared to existing products, the primary change is the color of the heatsink’s exterior.

The MP600 Pro LPX SSD White Edition features a white aluminum heatsink module of modest dimensions, designed to enhance cooling performance while seamlessly blending with the PlayStation 5 gaming console. According to Sony’s specifications, the heatsink measures a maximum of 110mm in length, 25mm in width, and 11.25mm in thickness.

Offering capacities of 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB, the MP600 Pro LPX White Edition lacks the 500GB variant found in the black version. Performance remains identical to the original product, utilizing 3D TLC NAND flash memory, with peak sequential read and write speeds of 7100 MB/s and 6800 MB/s, respectively. The maximum 4K random read/write reaches 1M IOPS and 1.2M IOPS, with the highest TBW of 3000.

Corsair has also revealed the pricing for the MP600 Pro LPX White Edition, with the 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities priced at $99.99, $199.99, and $474.99, respectively, all backed by a five-year warranty.
