CORSAIR brings A115 AIR radiator, and AF120 MAX and RX series fans

At the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, Corsair, a renowned American company, unveiled three innovative cooling products: the A115 AIR cooler, and the AF120 MAX and RX series fans.

According to TechPowerup, the AF120 MAX is a 120mm fan with a thickness of 30mm, exceeding the industry standard of 25mm. This additional 5mm allows for a larger impeller. It boasts a maximum speed of 2000 RPM and a static pressure of 4.14 mmH₂O, though Corsair has not disclosed its airflow and noise metrics. Additionally, Corsair plans to offer a 140mm variant. The AF120 MAX is ideally suited for water-cooling radiators and similar devices, where its high static pressure confers a distinct advantage.

The RX series fans are targeted at the mid-range market, with sizes of 120mm and 140mm. They will be available in both RGB and non-RGB models, with the RGB variant supporting a feature called “iCUE LINK,” known as the “Starry Chain.” First introduced at Computex 2023, the iCUE LINK smart component ecosystem utilizes a single cable technology for both power supply and data transmission, greatly simplifying cable management.

The A115 AIR is a high-end dual-tower CPU cooler, featuring six 6mm copper heat pipes that make indirect contact with the CPU via a copper base. The cooling module consists of 90 nickel-plated fins, accompanied by two AF140 Elite PWM 140mm fans. Corsair has also introduced an innovative installation mechanism, allowing the main body of the cooler to be mounted first, followed by sliding the two fans into place on a guide rail from the top, preventing any scratches from the fins.

Corsair’s “Hold Fast” mounting module design enables easy installation of the cooler, supporting platforms including Intel’s LGA 1700 and the upcoming LGA 1851, as well as AMD’s AM4 and AM5, thus covering the mainstream market.
