ASUS Releases TUF GAMING GeForce RTX 4090 OG Series

ASUS has announced an upgrade to its TUF GAMING series of graphics cards, introducing two new products: the TUF GAMING GeForce RTX 4090 OG and TUF GAMING GeForce RTX 4090 OG OC. Previously, ASUS had heralded the arrival of a new addition to the TUF GAMING series of graphics cards, leading many gamers to speculate whether it was an early reveal of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti design. In reality, ASUS has unveiled a custom design of the new GeForce RTX 4090.

The TUF GAMING series, ever revered for its rugged aesthetics, robust design, exceptional stability, and gaming performance, has now introduced the TUF GAMING GeForce RTX 4090 OG series graphics card. With overall dimensions of 325.9 x 140.2 x 62.8 mm and a 3.2-slot thickness, it presents a more compact profile than its predecessors, thereby enhancing installation compatibility. It features three axial fans, with the central fan rotating in the opposite direction to minimize fan noise. ASUS contends that the TUF series dual ball-bearing fans, military-grade capacitors, and other components, assembled via the Auto-Extreme manufacturing process, ensure the graphics card’s reliability for the forthcoming years, affirming its robust durability.

The TUF GAMING GeForce RTX 4090 OG and TUF GAMING GeForce RTX 4090 OG OC graphics cards appear identical in terms of aesthetics. However, the OC model evidently possesses a higher factory frequency, boasting a core frequency of 2595 MHz in OC mode and 2565 MHz in default mode. Gamers also have the facility to use the GPU Tweak III software for intuitive performance tuning, temperature control, and system monitoring.

ASUS has yet to disclose the pricing for the TUF GAMING GeForce RTX 4090 OG series graphics cards or a specific release date.
