ASRock Side Panel Kit is on sale

At the end of September, ASRock launched a series of Z790 motherboards to meet the needs of different user groups to build the Intel Raptor Lake platform. ASRock also mentions that these Z790 motherboards are unique in that they offer an eDP connector (Embedded DisplayPort), a new custom concept that allows users to install an additional display inside the case. It can be perfectly matched to the standard form factor enclosures, opening up new possibilities for individual design.

ASRock Side Panel Kit is a 13.3-inch IPS display with an aspect ratio of 16:9, a resolution of 1920 x 1080, a refresh rate of 60Hz, a color depth of 8bit, a brightness of 300 cd/m2, and a contrast ratio of 800 :1. The user can install it on the side panel of the chassis to provide users with an additional display for monitoring information such as system resources and temperature, or use it completely as an auxiliary display.

At present, this Side Panel Kit has appeared on the e-commerce platform, and the price is 118.81 pounds. Due to its adaptability and its parameters, the price may be a little expensive, but it is also a good supplementary option for some users who have limited space and want to find a secondary display.

In addition to the display and eDP cables, ASRock’s kit also provides two super long brackets and two short brackets, as well as double-sided tape and five clips to ensure that the user can be well installed on the chassis, and the wires are well organized. According to ASRock’s introduction, the motherboard models that currently support this display kit include Z790 LiveMixer, Z790 Pro RS/D4, Z790M-ITX WiFi, Z790 Steel Legend WiFi, Z790 PG Lightning, Z790 Pro RS, Z790 PG Lightning/D4, H610M-ITX/eDP, and B650E PG-ITX WiFi.
