Apple may release the new M2 chip iPad Pro & the M2 Pro chip MacBook Pro in October

Apple first harvested everyone’s wallets with the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro series, and the new Apple Watch this September. It is well known that they have a new wave of new products in October, mainly the new iPad Pro and Mac computers, but the latest news indicates that Apple does not plan to hold a press conference.

This statement comes from Mark Gurman’s latest blog post. If Apple does not hold a press conference, it is very likely that this new product will not be a new generation. Just some regular upgrades, that is, the appearance and functions are basically unchanged, mainly to upgrade the internal chips, so there should be new 11- and 12.9-inch iPad Pros with M2 chips, new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M2 Pros, and even a new Mac mini with M2 chips.

Last year, Apple unexpectedly put the M1 chip into the iPad Pro, and after launching the M2 chip in June this year, it put the M1 chip on the iPad Air, therefore, the new iPad Pro will naturally be equipped with a newer and stronger M2 chip. However, it is generally believed that the current iPadOS system has not exerted the real strength of the M1 chip, so Apple should launch iPadOS 16 simultaneously by October. In addition, it is said that the new iPad Pro may also have wireless charging.
The new MacBook Pro will be equipped with the M2 Pro chip, which is relatively new because the M2 Pro has not been officially announced yet. It’s just a chip that everyone guesses. According to the difference between M1 and M1 Pro, M2 Pro should use more performance cores and GPU cores to meet higher workload tasks, of course, it depends on Apple’s official release.
