Apple launches yellow version of iPhone 14 series

Apple has recently been keen on using new body colors to showcase its new products, and iPhone 14 was launched with five color options, an SKU strategy that is difficult for other mobile phone manufacturers to imitate. Now, Apple has quietly added another color option – a yellow iPhone 14 series. This new color is available for both the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and the larger iPhone 14 Plus, priced at a starting price of $799. In fact, Apple used a yellow version on the iPhone XR several generations ago. This time, from the official images, the new phone appears to be even brighter and more vibrant, which should appeal to younger people. However, this generation of iPhone 14 has been criticized for its small changes. It does not use the “Dynamic Island” and still uses the same SoC as the previous generation, which makes it lack competitiveness in terms of product strength. This cannot be changed simply by adding a new color.

As for the higher-end iPhone 14 Pro, there is no “yellow version”, possibly because the iPhone 14 Pro already has a similar color option, champagne gold. With the arrival of this new color option, there are also new matching Apple Watch straps and silicone protective cases. Therefore, even if you don’t buy a new phone, you can still stay up-to-date with Apple’s new color trend by updating your existing iPhone with these accessories.

However, Apple did not directly start selling this small color change. The yellow iPhone 14 series will not be available for full payment pre-orders until March 10th and will be shipped on March 14th.
