AOC launches Agon PD32M monitor: 4K@144Hz and Mini-LED

AOC recently launched a new Agon series monitor PD32M together with the famous brand Porsche. It should be noted that the Porsche here is not the one that makes supercars, but a high-end design company founded by the original Porsche 911 designer.

The Agon PD32M is a 32-inch Mini-LED display with a 4K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. It also has VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification, which means that its peak brightness can reach 1600 nits or higher. Agon PD32M covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, which is good for watching HDR content or games. In addition, Agon PD32M also supports variable refresh rates, but AOC did not disclose whether it only supports VRR or also has AMD’s Free Sync or NVIDIA’s G-Sync Compatible certification.

In terms of interfaces, Agon PD32M has 2 HDMI 2.1 interfaces, 1 DP interface, 1 USB Type-C interface, and 4 USB 3.2 Type-A interfaces, but it is not clear whether this USB Type-C interface is fully functional, capable of outputting video signals or just simply power the device. The monitor itself needs to be used with a power adapter.

Agon PD32M has a headphone hanger on both sides, which is convenient for players to hang the headphones. There are also 3 RGB lighting effects behind the fuselage to meet the wishes of RBG players. But the most interesting thing is that this monitor is also equipped with remote control. When players want to adjust the settings of the monitor, they do not need to reach out to the back of the monitor to press, which is very convenient.
But what everyone cares about most is the price. The current price of the Agon PD32M monitor is $1799, which is a little expensive for a display of this specification. However, if you want to play games and want to have a little more style, then this monitor may also be a good choice.
