Acer Swift X with Intel Arc A370M graphics appears in Finland’s ProShop

Intel will release the Acr series of discrete graphics cards at the end of this month. Unlike the previous Xe graphics cards that can only be used for video hardware acceleration, the Arc A370M released this time is a serious gaming graphics card. Although it can only be said to be mainstream or even an entry-level model in terms of specifications, the first Samsung Book 2 Pro notebook equipped with Arc independent display was put on the shelf by an American retailer, and this time, Finland’s ProShop retailers put the Acer Swift X on the shelves.

In fact, Acer Swift X is the first notebook confirmed to use Intel Arc discrete graphics. When it was released in January, Acer’s German confirmed that there will be a version with Arc discrete graphics. The Acer Swift X with Acr A370M is available in two models, one with a Core i7-1260P processor and a 1TB SSD, priced at 1,549 euros, and the other with a Core i5-1240P processor and a 512GB SSD.

Both versions are equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5 memory, the screen is 16 inches, the resolution is 2560*1600, and the LED backlight is used. The notebook size is 35.63*25.63*1.79cm and weighs 1.7kg. It’s expected to arrive on May 25, two months after the graphics card’s release.

The Intel Arc A370M graphics card is based on the DG2-128EU GPU and is equipped with 64bit/4GB of video memory. It is an entry-level discrete graphics card with low power consumption. Intel says its performance will be twice the performance of the Xe core graphics in Alder Lake, although it can’t say how high the performance will be, it is competent for light games.
