Samsung to host Galaxy Unpacked 2022 on February 8

As early as more than two months ago, it was reported that in order to ensure the smooth launch of the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung has started mass production of various components required for the Galaxy S22 series smartphones. According to reports Ddaily, Samsung has confirmed the release and sales schedule for the Galaxy S22 series. Samsung will send out invitations at the end of January, and then will host “Galaxy Unpacked 2022” on February 8. Next, pre-orders will be opened on February 9th. The first batch of products will be shipped from February 21st. The official sales will probably be on February 24th. The Galaxy S22 series is designed with three models which include Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. Samsung will also use MWC2022 as an opportunity to experience new smartphones, but the show will focus on the Galaxy ecosystem rather than the phones themselves

The Galaxy S22 series will be divided into two platforms, Samsung Exynos and Qualcomm Snapdragon. Galaxy S22 series with Samsung Exynos platforms should be Exynos 2200, its GPU code name is Voyager, using mRDNA architecture, integrating 6 CUs with a total of 384 stream processors, supporting ray tracing and variable rate shading. Galaxy S22 series with Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms should be is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. In various regions of the world, Samsung will choose different versions to sell.
