Asus launches new 14-inch business notebook ExpertBook B9450

At today’s CES 2020, ASUS released a new thin and light business notebook ExpertBook B9450, weighing only 865 grams and about 14.9 mm thick.

Although the ExpertBook B9450 is thin and light, it can pass the test of MIL-STD-810G (American Military Standard), which includes drop test, shock test, vibration test, high-temperature test, low-temperature test, 95% humidity air test, and several hours, and dust exposure test. These tests are honestly too difficult for a laptop!

The ExpertBook B9450 is equipped with Asus NumberPad 2.0, which is an LED-illuminated numeric keypad built into the touchpad of the notebook.

In terms of product configuration, the ExpertBook B9450 is equipped with a 10th generation Intel processor, two 1TB PCIe 3.0 solid-state drives, up to 16GB of memory and WiFi 6 (802.11ax) connection support.

In terms of batteries, the ExpertBook B9450 uses a standard two-cell 33Wh battery, which can provide up to 12 hours of battery life (this number may not be reached under actual use conditions), and an optional 66Wh battery can be used to double the battery life of the notebook. It should also be noted that the ExpertBook B9450 supports fast charging, which can be charged from 0% to 60% in 39 minutes.

In terms of interface, as a business notebook, the ExpertBook B9450 is bound to perform well. ExpertBook B9450 provides a full-size HDMI interface, two Thunderbolt 3 interfaces, an Ethernet interface, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

In addition to the ErgoLift hinge, the ExpertBook B9450 is also equipped with some standard features of commercial notebooks, such as a built-in infrared camera, a built-in voice assistant, and a Harman Kardon-optimized audio system.

Asus announced that the ExpertBook B9450 will be available in the first quarter of this year.
