Microsoft Teams begins offering e-signatures during meetings

The electronic signature is undoubtedly a function urgently needed by current enterprises. It is not necessary to print the contract back and forth, but the current electronic signature is usually provided by professional service providers.

Microsoft does not intend for these service providers to grab the market, but Microsoft is ready to integrate the electronic signature function in Microsoft Teams, and service providers can use the API interface to implement the above functions for Microsoft Teams.

In this way, enterprises can directly sign agreements after negotiating cooperation through Microsoft Teams, such as purchase agreements, bills, non-disclosure agreements, etc.

The current concept code has been published on Github, and anyone who wants to do in-depth research can go to Github to check the code. Service providers that provide electronic signatures can test them in advance, and then they can be used by enterprises when they settle in Microsoft Teams.
Of course, security is what Microsoft is most concerned about. The current scenario announced by Microsoft is to initiate a signature during a Teams meeting, and Microsoft will verify it through the Teams SSO system, allowing users to seamlessly sign to simplify the entire process.
