Intel officially announced the Gen Core iCore i9-9900K and Core X/W series processors
As previously leaked, Intel is launching new processors on time, including the 9th generation Core processor and Core X and Core W series processors.
Intel claims that the Core i9-9900K is the world’s best game processor with a base frequency of 3.6GHz and 8 cores and 16 threads.
In the case of overclocking, the i9-9900K processor has a maximum clock speed of around 5.0 GHz, and users in some countries and regions can now order new processors.

There is a lot of negative news about the Meltdown and Spectre that exist in Intel processors, but Intel did not disclose whether the new processors are addressing the vulnerability.
According to the previous news, the Meltdown and Spectre flaw are process design problems, so they can only be replaced by a new processor. Since it is not mentioned, most of it has not been fixed yet.
Intel’s announcement shows that the new processor has added additional hardware protection, L2 and L3 security vulnerabilities to protect against ghost variants.
However, fuses and other variants still need to be protected by installing microcode, which means that these processors have not completely fixed the Spectre bug.

Core X Series processors for high-end users:
Intel has officially launched seven new processors based on the Core X series, which are expected to be available to users in November.
The seven new X-series include: i7-9800X, i9-9820X, i9-9900X, i9-9920X, i9-9940X, i9-9960X and i9-9980XE.
The Core X Series processor offers an optional expansion of 8 to 18 cores, supports up to 36 threads, and 24.75 MB of Intel’s was only caching technology.
Of course, since it is for high-end users, the price of the Core X series processor is naturally very touching, from a minimum of 589 US dollars to a maximum of 1979 US dollars.

This series of processors is mainly for users with professional performance requirements. The W-3175X processor introduced this time includes 28 cores and 56 threads.
The Xeon series W-3175X processor has a primary frequency of around 3.1 GHz and can be increased to about 4.3 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology.
However, the processor may not be officially available until December of this year, and Intel did not disclose the specific price of the processor at the press conference.
