Firefox 85 will support batch deletion of all saved passwords

Mozilla stated that in the upcoming new stable version of Firefox, Firefox 85, users will be allowed to delete all saved passwords and login information in batches.

The password manager included in the Firefox browser is Firefox Lockwise. At present, the password manager does not support batch clearing of login information.

For example, if the user needs to delete the saved form password, he needs to select the form password one by one and then delete it slowly, which is inconvenient for the user.

Of course, there are reasons why Firefox does not support batch deletion, because if it is deleted by mistake, all passwords of the user may be lost.

Mozilla said that based on user feedback, it will provide a batch delete function for passwords, and users can directly operate by removing all login information options.

Of course, there will be confirmation messages when performing batch deletion based on security considerations to prevent users from misoperation. It is recommended that users carefully review each operation before using this function.

In addition, the password manager will add more new features in the next stable version update, such as batch importing login information from other places from CSV format files.

At the same time, it supports the generation of high-strength passwords and improved password leak alarms. When the user password is leaked, a warning message will be displayed to remind the user to change the password.

At present, these features have been provided in the Firefox nightly build version, and interested users can also use the Firefox browser to experience the latest features.
