Windows Server 2022 has officially entered the preview stage
Windows Server 2022 is the next Microsoft server operating system. Microsoft announced at the Ignite conference that the system has officially entered the preview stage.
In fact, the preview version of this version has been announced before and available to users for testing. This time Microsoft officially announced that the version will be released after the test is completed.
Windows Server 2022 is currently close to completion, so the rest is only testing and repair work, Microsoft may release the system before the end of the year. Microsoft Windows Server 2022 is developed on the basis of Windows 10 v2004, so the update progress is actually relatively slow.
After all, Windows 10 21H2 will be released in the fall, but the good news is that using the old version as a basis for development can significantly improve the stability of the system.
For Windows Server and long-term service versions, stability is of course the most important. Windows 10 LTSC 2022 version is also based on the old Windows 10 version.
If there is no surprise, Windows Server 2022 and the new long-term service version will be released by the end of the year, but they may be released next spring at the latest.
Windows Server 2022 version is the focus of the improvement of security features, although it is only announced that the preview version Microsoft has also revealed the security features in advance.
The system provides Microsoft Defender System Guard system protection functions and virtualization-based security functions to evade malware.
At the same time, it provides faster HTTPS connections and fast AES 256 encryption for SMB server messages. Microsoft is also enhancing the system’s hybrid server management.
