Vivo will unveil the X Fold 2, X Flip, and the new Vivo Pad 2 tablet device on April 20th

After revealing plans to launch the vertically folding phone X Flip with a larger external display screen, Vivo has confirmed the unveiling of a new foldable phone with a flexible screen on April 20th, alongside the announcement of their new tablet device, the Vivo Pad 2.

Barring any surprises, Vivo will reveal the new X Fold 2 foldable phone, expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and maintain a bilateral folding design, with specific details to be disclosed at the launch event.

As for the other foldable phone, the previously unveiled X Flip will feature an enlarged external display and be available in black, gold, and purple color schemes. The purple variant will boast a leather back cover adorned with a diamond pattern and accompanied by a pearl star ring short chain.

In terms of hardware, the device will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera with optical image stabilization and Zeiss T* coated lenses on the exterior, and a 32-megapixel internal video camera.

While concrete details for the forthcoming Vivo Pad 2 tablet have not yet been disclosed, it is likely to feature an 11-inch display, support for a stylus, and be available in blue, pink, and black color options.
