The A14 performance of the iPhone 12 Pro beats the Exynos 2100 of the S21 Ultra

Although the iPhone has not made much achievement in appearance design in recent years, its internal hardware-level still has a pretty good breakthrough every year.

The performance of the M1 chip Apple released this year is very good, and the A14 Bionic chip on its latest iPhone series products is also not to be underestimated.

Not long ago, Samsung officially released their flagship mobile phone Galaxy S21 series. The true flagship is the Galaxy S21 Ultra. This time Galaxy S21 Ultra also uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and its own Exynos 2100 dual SoC road.

Exynos 2100 only outperformed Snapdragon 888 in terms of CPU. The traditional weak GPU performance naturally lost to Snapdragon 888. Therefore, it can be seen that the biggest problem facing Samsung at present is the insufficient performance of the chip GPU.

Today, some netizens use Geekbench 5 to test the chip performance of the iPhone 12 Pro and Galaxy S21 Ultra, and the results are naturally very expected.

Apple A14 Bionic chip has a single-core score of 1597, a multi-core score of 4008, and a GPU score of 9255. Samsung’s Exynos 2100 chip has a single-core score of 1085, a multi-core score of 3291, and a GPU score of 7162. But compared to the gap between the previous chips, Exynos 2100 has made considerable progress.

And it was previously reported that Samsung will release Exynos chips with AMD GPU cores in the second or third quarter of this year, so Exynos has a promising future.
