MSI provides new BIOS for X570 and B550 motherboards to support Cezanne APU

AMD AGESA 1.2.0.3 Patch C BETA BIOS is an extension of Patch B released last month. On the one hand, it provides further support for Ryzen 5000G series (Cezanne) APU and Ryzen 5000 series (Vermeer B2 Stepping) processors. On the other hand, Also solved all the USB problems on the previous Ryzen 5000 series motherboards. ASUS is the first motherboard manufacturer to release AMD AGESA 1.2.0.3 Patch C Beta BIOS, involving X570 ROG Crosshair VIII series motherboards.

According to Wccftech reports, MSI has begun to launch AMD AGESA 1.2.0.3 Patch C BIOS for its X570 and B550 series motherboards. It is understood that MSI’s SMU for Ryzen 5000G series (Cezanne) APU has been updated to 64.50.0, while for Ryzen 5000 series processors it has been updated to 56.52.0. On the other hand, ASUS X570 ROG Crosshair VIII series motherboards are at 56.53.0. Normally, in order to ensure that the correct patch has been updated, the SMU version matches Cezanne’s 64.50.0.

MSI provides new BIOS on the following X570 and B550 series motherboards, and there will be more later, currently including

  • MEG B550 UNIFY-X (E7D13AMS.A41)
  • MEG B550 UNIFY (E7D13AMS.141)
  • MAG B550M MORTAR WiFi (E7C94AMS.191)
  • MAG B550 TOMAHAWK (E7C91AMS.A81)
In addition, MSI also displayed the new X570S series motherboards. In addition to the previously released MAG X570S TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI and MAG X570S TORPEDO MAX, MSI also includes the ACE, CARBON, and UNIFY series. This series of motherboards will be released on August 17th.

MEG X570 ACE provides an improved power supply solution, provides powerful overclocking performance for CPU and memory, and is equipped with a considerable number of USB 3.2 ports. It is rumored that the price of this motherboard will exceed $500. MPG X570S CARBON uses a black and gray design while improving the power supply system. MEG X570S Unify uses an all-black design with a large cooling system covering the VRM and multiple M.2 slots.
