Microsoft accidentally leaks screenshots of the new OneDrive client for Windows 11
On Windows 11, Microsoft has integrated OneDrive more deeply, such as File Explorer, which can now check the remaining space of cloud storage. But Microsoft has yet to launch a new version of OneDrive based on the Windows 11 design style, at least not mentioned in the previous roadmap.
Interestingly, the leaked new screenshot shows that although the roadmap does not mention it, Microsoft is actually quietly developing the new OneDrive client for Windows 11, mainly in terms of styling changes. The screenshots of the OneDrive client accidentally leaked by Microsoft’s website are mainly in terms of settings, and no other changes have been seen in the function. A new OneDrive client has appeared on Microsoft’s website and it seems to be based on Windows 11’s WinUI principles.
It is still unknown when the new version will be released, but now that the screenshots are leaked, it is estimated that Microsoft is also ready to provide it to Windows Insiders.
